Not surprisingly, our Dear Leader has sent his lackeys around the Sunday talk-show circuit preparing the American public for "middle class tax increases." Excuse me?
Larry Summers, puppet of Wall Street and architect of the repeal of Glass-Stegall (which allowed Wall Street banks to speculate and leverage up on real estate...we know how that one ended), said "There is a lot that can happen over time," and "it is never a good idea to absolutely rule things out, no matter what."
So we have 9.5%+ unemployment, trillion dollar deficits and a shrinking economy. How can we fuck up the USA more? I know - let's raise taxes on the middle class!!! Is this Summers a complete and utter fucking moron, or does Wall Street have its hand so far up his ass that he just doesn't care?
Tiny Tim Geithner made the rounds as well and left the door open to middle class tax increases. Brilliant. Haven't you done enough, Timmy? This guy is clueless - he lets Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers fold, but insists that AIG is too big to fail, lies about the amount needed to bail them out - just so his buddies at Goldman Sachs can get their money back from their highly speculative and risky investments, only so they can turn around and give billions in bonuses to their employees. And we're letting this lemming run the economy? Nice work, America.
Yet another broken promise from Dear Leader. Anyone who got tricked into voting for Obama should be ashamed of their stupidity. But they're probably too busy watching American Idol to notice or care.
